International Initiatives, Reading Room Project

To reach those who need literacy resources in remote locations and villages, we have committed ourselves to the humbling challenge of building and providing mobile reading rooms and libraries in remote locations and villages.

In doing so, children will have a place to go for homework assistance, engage in collaborative thinking, and have a space to nourish their academic minds. Although many nations object to child labor, many third-world countries believe it is an acceptable and necessary way of life. Unfortunately, young children are at an all-time high in these terrifying situations.

This is why having a safe place to go after school hours is vital to their future. Unfortunately, too much unstructured time can cause kids to neglect a focus on their school-related obligations. Unproductive, unhealthy, or even dangerous behaviors can materialize seemingly out of thin air.

Having a place to go before and after school can help mitigate the tendency towards inertia and provide kids with a positive, character-building use of their time. This is why with the help of our supporters, we built a reading room and community room for the kids.
